Senior: Natalie at Rood Bridge Park

For Natalie's second senior session she chose Hillsboro's Rood Bridge Park. I love when clients show me new places, this one was especially great! Natalie used to live nearby so the park was a special place for her. She rocked the shoot, of course. This girl just knows how to work it! She has great style and it was a pleasure to take her pictures. Thank you Natalie!

Also a huge thank you to her father for letting me try me his awesome lens, wow did it make a difference! Thank you Mr. Dukes!

This is the little snake that visited us, and No-Fear-Natalie just picked him up!

Family Time: The Runyons

This session was a total blast! I drove up to Bar View Jetty to meet up with the Runyons on a family camping trip. The weather was beautiful, the beach was amazing, and we were able to get some great shots even with the crazy wind. They look like a group of models! It was a great day and I always love hanging out with this family. And thank you to Karen for helping out and coming on the drive =]

Check out the pup, Cooper, and that great smile! So adorable.

Family Time: Havemeister Cousins at Grandma's House

These are some seriously cute kids. I've been taking Addy's photographs for a while now, her cute little face is all over my business cards! This time around we had her cousins in the mix. Cooper and Addison are the same age and adore each other, and Leyland and Brendyn are typical brothers but have a lot of fun. We did their shoot at their grandma'se house and it was too cool. She has an amazing amount of toys, a swing, and a big playset- way cool! It's a kids dream!
Something I love about photographing kids is that they don't care you have a camera. They are going to play, get dirty, refuse to smile, and only sit still for a short minute with the bribe of fruit snacks. But I love that part of chasing them around and trying to capture their real cuteness and playtime. Addy is especially fun babbling in her own little language and doing exact opposite of anything you say. I just love it.
We did this in two sessions, Cooper and Addy had a lot of rain the first day. We luckily had a break the second and were able to catch all four cousins together. They are truly some happy go lucky kids and I had a total blast!

This was TOO funny! Leyland knew his brother was doing something but didn't quite get the bunny ears down, so cute!

Leyland, Addison, Cooper, and Brendyn. And fruit snack bribes.
