Sarah: Dancing, Crown Point, and a Torn ACL

I brought up the idea of an outdoor dance shoot with Sarah months ago and was so pleased we finally had to the opportunity. Sarah is a beautiful girl and a natural dancer. I loved just letting her move and looking for the perfect moments in her movement. Everything about this session was beautiful.
Unfortunately a few months back Sarah had injured herself and shortly after our shoot discovered her ACL was completely torn. She is set to have surgery soon and I hope that with a speedy recovery we can see her back up and dancing again!

Thank you to Hazel, a Crown Point volunteer, for showing me this shadow, so beautiful!

Nisreen: Sue Bryce Inspired

I am lucky to have such wonderful and beautiful people in my life. I am really lucky that they let me play dress up and drag them around taking pictures! I felt like I learned so much from the small talk Sue Bryce gave at WPPIU and immediately wanted to get to work. This was a really small and fast shoot (I think I spent more time doing her hair than I did taking the pictures) but I just wanted to test out some new techniques. Nisreen looks absolutely stunning and I love the way they turned out. Thanks for the afternoon darling and I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Maternity: Veronica and Zach

Roni was one of my first seniors and a very good friend when I started photography, so it was a real treat when she called me to meet her in Seattle for a maternity shoot after not seeing her for almost four years! Roni and husband Zach are expecting Nathaniel in December. She is gorgeous and glowing and the two are such a blast together! It was a great time laughing and catching up and I can't wait to see their little bundle!
