A bit of July

Since the end of my 365 project I haven't taken a lot of photographs outside of scheduled sessions. But in the last few weeks we had the Olympic trials held in Eugene. They were also sponsored by Nike, where David now works and loves, so he got some awesome new gear and was able to meet a lot of the athletes.  We also had a short trip to Florence on the 4th of July and it may be my new favorite coastal town in Oregon. Here is just a quick look at what my life has been recently!

I love that truck! Oh, and that boy too.

Anniversary: Missy and Brian

I love doing sessions and multiple locations and with close friends because we just get to make a day of it! I spent most of the day with the Runyon family and it was a lot of fun. Missy and Brian are the parents of my dear friend and awesome model Channi. Now you can see where she gets her looks! We started our session at the Portland Rose Test Garden in the Shakespearean Garden where they were married 25 years ago this November. The love just radiates from these two. After snow cones, we drove out to Crown Point's Vista House (it was actually open!) and had a chance to catch a great view of the gorge. They truly are a special couple and I am so looking forward to photographing their entire family on the coast in a few short weeks!

That is some seriously good root beer.

Engagement: Cynthia and Martin

Cynthia and Martin are a beautiful couple! They will be saying their vows in Saratoga Springs, NY this fall, so of course they needed some Portland engagement pictures. They chose the Portland Rose Test Garden for their setting early this last Saturday. It was a perfect setting for these two. They have great chemistry with each other and the camera. It was a great morning with them and I can't wait for their Portland reception.
